Baking soda is another name for sodium bicarbonate. Itís not really a food, but rather an ingredient for baking. Baking soda can also be found in many refrigerators, as it helps to neutralize acids and bases (and the odors associated).
Baking soda tastes terrible on its own, but can aid in softening breads and cakes.
