Lentils are seeds that are sort of like half–developed lima beans. Canada apparently leads the world in lentil production, which is surprising for a country that’s rarely recognized for anything food–related.

Lentils are mediocre. Their preparation time/benefit ratio is unacceptable. They seem to have been left behind in the evolutionary process of becoming good.
