Ramen refers to a Japanese soup thatís filled with noodles. The noodles generally rest in a pork broth. Ramen is extremely popular in Japan and has come to the United States in an inferior, but very affordable format (dried and enclosed in a styrofoam cup).
Ramen tastes good, but contains enough salt to deal a significant chance of heart attack to anyone over the age of 35. Ramen is a very fun food; Itís like exploring a miniature sea from a distant planet.
