Soybean is a type of bean that few ever see in raw form, because itís usually crushed up and made into something else before it has a chance to be looked at. Since there is a fair amount of competition in the bean world, soybean has found its home in various creations such as soy milk, tofu, and vegetable oil. Soybean farming in Asia is riddled with politics and is very analogous to corn in the United States. In a mad dash for agricultural control, some forget that there are many other spectacular snacks waiting to be eaten as well.
On its own, soybean is mediocre. When processed and made into another food, soybean may become mediocre to good.
Soybean became an official snack on June 5th 2012.
