Nachos is a Mexican creation. It consists of a pile of tortilla chips that have various ‘toppings’ dumped on them which are in turn covered in cheese and baked. The result is a small congregation of bite–sized ‘nachos’ that are easily distributed amongst groups. The relative ease of creation and bite–sized appeal make this dish extremely popular.
