Sometimes rice gets processed into a format that allows them to be made into rice noodles. It’s extremely popular in many Thai and Vietnamese dishes. When served alone, it provides little cultural appeal. Italy has too many of its own noodles to even acknowledge the existence of rice noodle.

Taste
Rice noodles have a sort of ‘gummy’ quality. They basically taste good when paired with anything that rice would be mixed or served with. If some sort of oil or liquid isn’t applied quickly enough after preparation, rice noodles will glob together in a sort of rice–glob fashion.
