Yogurt refers to milk that is fermented in a way until it reaches a thick, creamy consistency. The milk is generally gathered from a cow, although sometimes a goat or sheep instead. Like cheese, it comes in so many varieties that many snackers steer clear of the yogurt world altogether in order to avoid confusion.
When served in its rawest form, yogurt is very sour and doesn’t taste pleasant. It’s generally sweetened with fruit or sugar, but is occasionally made into a savory snack as well. Overall, yogurt is good.
